In this context, in the framework of the Moldovan Presidency of the Central European Initiative an International Conference was organized on October 24, 2008, in Chi?in?u, Republic of Moldova, with the aim to strengthen the role of the focal points in fostering regional cooperation, in the fields of Science & Technology and Information Society, towards a sustainable development of a knowledge-based society in the CEI region.
