The European Commission has published two calls for proposals for the Ideas programme under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The calls relate to:
ERC (European Research Council) Starting Independent Researcher Grants - this action supports researchers who are starting or consolidating their own independent research team or,
ailment depending on the field, their own independent research programme. This call is divided into sub-calls in three main research domains:
- physical sciences and engineering;
- life sciences;
- social sciences and humanities.
ERC Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) - this action supports independent exploratory work to analyse the impact of the ERC and to assist in the development of a strategy for the monitoring and assessment of ERC activities.
The deadlines for submission of proposals vary for each call and sub-call. Details are given on the web site mentioned below.
