Austrian Grants 2009/2010

The grants are provided by the Federal Ministry of Science and Research of the Republic of Austria. The grant scheme is open for PhD's and PhD students up to 35 years. Closing date for the application (online-application procedure) is March 1st and September 1st 2009.

The grants provide substantial funding for research stays in Austria up to 9 months, drugs | while the candidates have to return after their stay abroad. It is up to the institutions to intensify the established contacts and to develop further research cooperation. The grants are provided by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research.

Types of Grants

Grant “Ernst Mach“ research project in all fields of studies 1 to 9 months!
Grant “Franz Werfel“ for university lecturers of German language and Austrian literature 4 to 9 months!
Grant “Richard Plaschka Scholarship“ for university teachers whose main focus of interest is Austrian history 4 to 9 months! (prolongation possible for this grant)
