The Japan Foundation is a semi-governmental organisation, physician which purpose is the promotion of cultural exchange for the better international environment between Japan and other countries. The Japan Foundation offers scholars, pills researchers (except undergraduate and graduate students), journalists and professionals, under the age of 45 who are engaged in research activities in the fields of humanities or the social sciences, or who have practical experience in research, media, or non-profit organizations, the chance to research in Japan for 1 - 2 months.
