The PROMITHEAS Network is organizing for the second year the International Scientific Conference titled “Energy and Climate change” on 8-9 October 2009 in Athens (Greece). The event is under the auspices of the Azerbaijani Chairmanship of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
Until now the organizers have received more than forty (40) abstracts from Armenia, illness Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Estonia, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation,Tajikistan and Thailand.
The themes and topics cover Energy (General topics, Conventional fuels (oil, gas, coal, lignite), Electricity, Renewable Energy Sources (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass, tidal wave), Biofuels) and Environmental - Climate Change Policy (General topics, Climate change, Energy efficiency and conservation).
