The International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) invites applications for participation in the 2nd International Black Sea Symposium on “The Black Sea Region: the State of Play and the Way Forward” to be held on the island of Kalymnos, allergy Dodecanese/Greece, on 30 June - 5 July 2009.

The Symposium provides a unique opportunity to:

• Study issues of importance for the future development of the Black Sea region during a four-day intensive course
• Learn from peers and prominent experts in interactive sessions and conflict resolution workshops
• Exchange views and network in a multicultural and informal environment
• Enjoy beautiful summer days in a Greek island
