The Flemish Government has decided to continue providing considerable financial means to consolidate and further establish relationships with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe through project cooperation.
Since 1992 the Flemish Government has financed project cooperation between Flemish promoters and partners in Central and Eastern Europe in the framework of the Cooperation Programme. In 2009 special attention will again be paid to cooperation with the countries in the Western Balkans.
New, erectile however, pill is the fact that among the new neighbouring countries, projects in Moldova will also be eligible for financing. Project proposals can be filed between 1 January 2009 and 31 March 2009 to the Flemish Department of Foreign Affairs.
