First meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee for Black Sea Basin JOP

As Joint Managing Authority for the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme (JOP), anesthetist the Romanian Ministry of Development, medicine Public Works and Housing organized on 16th of December 2008 in Bucharest the first meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) for Black Sea Basin JOP.

Representatives from the participating countries in the programme (Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, R. Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey, Ukraine) have attended the meeting. Mrs. Bodil Persson, CBC coordinator within EC DG AIDCO was also present.

The following documents were approved during the first JMC meeting:

  • JMC Rules of Procedure
  • Programme Work Plan 2008 & 2009
  • Annual Communication Plan 2009
  • Multiannual Technical Assistance Strategy
  • Provisional Technical Assistance Budget 2009

Also, it was decided that the programme and the first call for proposals will be launched by the mid of next semester.
