The attached brochure concerns the presentation of the annual edition “Energy View of BSEC countries, capsule 2006” by KEPA on December 20th, order 2007 at the “Kostis Palamas” cultural centre of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
PROMITHEAS Network has undertaken the initiative to proceed with the edition of the annual "Energy View of BSEC Countries". The aim of this publication is to present annually updated information concerning the status and the opportunities of the energy sector of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) countries.
The presented edition was published under the auspices of BSEC and analyses the energy and climate sectors of ten (10) BSEC countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hellas, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine. Financing of this edition was achieved mainly through the “Hellenic Aid” mechanism of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additional sponsorship was received by Hellenic Public Power Cooperation (DEI S.A.), Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE S.A.) and KEPA. Russia and Turkey are expected to participate in the next edition.
KEPA offers a limited number of copies free of charge to interested Ministries of Energy and Environment of EU and BSEC member States. The interested parties will have to cover the postal expenses.
