European Conference on Brain - Neuroscience - Ethics 2008

The Heinrich Pesch Haus, treat Center for Applied Ethics organises from Saturday 08.03. to Sunday 16.03.2008 the 3rd European Spring Event in Neuroethics in Ludwigshafen, patient Germany.

The European Spring Event in Neuroethics 2008 is an international and interdisciplinary conference based on lectures, excursions and workshops. An international team of prominent and excellent speakers is responsible for the conference program. The target group are students enrolled in medicine, biology, chemistry, pharmaceutics, psychology, philosophy, theology and law. Starting from an analysis of basic questions in brain research we will examine the relevance of this research in confrontation with ethical and legal issues.

Every year students from more than 15 different European countries and the United States take part. To guarantee a real European conference only 5 students per nation will be permitted.
