SMEs go Health European Partnering Days on Health and Biotechnology in the 7th Framework Programme (FP7)

These events aim at bringing companies and research institutes from European countries together in one place. In pre-arranged bilateral meetings, participants have the opportunity to discuss possibilities of future cooperations.

The basis for the meeting schedule is in online catalogue, where each participating organisation submits in advance its competence profile and its cooperation interest. The target of these meetings is to initiate cooperation in European research projects in the health area of FP7.

09.00 – 09.30   Registration
09.30 – 09.45   Introduction by FP7 National Contact Point Health
09.45 – 10.45   Work Programme Health
10.45 – 11.00   SMEs go Health: Supporting research collaboration between SME and academia in the Health area of FP7
11.00 – 12.00   Success Story: Benefits and challenges of Coordinating an EU-funded project
12.00 – 13.00   Lunch break
13.00 – 17.30   30 minutes pre-arranged cooperation meetings

The event is organised by the European initiative SMEs go Health, whose network consists of experienced partners from 27 European countries.

How to participate:

    * Register and submit a profile online under www.matchmaking.at/smesgohealth
    * Profiles are published in a constantly updated online catalogue
    * Participants select interesting profiles from the catalogue and request meetings
    * If confirmed, 30-minutes meetings are scheduled by SMEs go Health staff
    * Individual meeting schedules will be sent out to the participants a few days prior to Partnering Days

The meetings will take place on 17th June 2008 at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow and on 20th June 2008 at the King’s College, London.
